Thibaud Van LoockeCONTACT INFO
I am Thibaud, a 23-year-old designer based in Bruges/Ghent. My  interests and hobbies, are mostly; video games, anime and manga. I could go on and on about how these hobbies have influenced me, but you’re not here for all that; you’re mostly here to check out my work (at least I hope so).

My strengths as a designer lie in typography and an alternative view of design. I like to experiment a lot with image and text.

If you enjoy my work and would like to collaborate or just get to know me a little better, you can always get in touch by pressing the “Contact” button in the top right corner of this page. Hope to hear from you soon, and take care! ⭑.ᐟ

POSTER
PARTY

  • A collection of posters made for various plays by Compagnie Cecilia. Each poster’s visual highlights one of the key themes from the respective play.

VERBS MAGAZINE:
TO FLOOD

  • Made out of a verb in every context, in this case, “to flood,” the magazine explores flooding in every form: cinema, flooding in farming, and even floods on Mars.

LONDON
POSTCARDS

A small collection of postcards featuring peculiarly fun finds around central London. The cards were risoprinted in black ink.

NOT SECURE

NOT SECURE is a conceptual archive by Eleonora Derynck and I. Made to spread awareness and save what’s left of a endangered artform, old websites.

THE
COLLECTION

  • A collection or
  • “catalogue” of red flags
  • on Tinder, each of which
  • is recreated as famous
  • horror movie scenes from
  • various classics. The
  • layout inside stays true to
  • the Tinder interface,
  • recreating the feeling of
  • “fast swiping,” which, in
  • this case, makes you want
  • to run away.

CLUE
THE GAME

A fresh “rebrand” of the game Clue, inspired by the theme of Flemish pigeon milkers. Throughout the entire design process, everything, down to the manual, was created from a West Flemish point of view: the language used in the design down to the manual was entirely in the West Flemish dialect.

SCARF DESIGN

This is a personal project. For a while, I’ve been wanting to make a scarf, and I coincidentally finally got the assignment to create one. This design is my pride and joy and visually represents who I am and what my “aesthetic” is.
